ignis — It starts with a spark

Ignis Labs

Our manifesto

We start with a spark.

Not the kind that flickers and fades, but the kind that catches, that spreads, that ignites possibility.

At ignis, we believe technology isn't the point. People are.

Apps, data, media—they're just the tools. What matters is what they do: how they connect, persuade, measure, and move us forward.

The world is crowded with noise.

And this word does not need more noise…. It needs clarity. Precision. Relevance.

It needs a partner who can turn raw data into insight, pixels into persuasion, ideas into traction.

We're part of Glynt. Which means we don't just build things in isolation. We build inside an ecosystem of media, marketing, and measurement. That gives us leverage. It gives you scale.

ignis exists for those who want to matter.

For the brands willing to stand out, not blend in.

For the teams ready to ship, test, learn, and ship again.

For the ones who know that attention is precious—and fleeting.

We make. We measure. We adapt.

Because the spark isn't enough. You need the fire.

Using this website

By using this website, you agree to these terms. You must have legal capacity to do so, or the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian or other authorised representative where local law permits. If you act for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so. You must not use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or abusively, interfere with its security or availability, or infringe another person’s rights.

Our products and services

This website introduces Ignis Labs and our products and services. Product use, subscriptions and paid engagements are governed by the relevant product terms or written agreement. Sending an enquiry does not create a service contract or commit either party to a purchase. Product descriptions and availability may change.

Intellectual property and external links

The website’s branding, design and content belong to Ignis Labs or our licensors and are protected by law. You may browse the website for its intended purpose; this does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control their content or availability.

Availability and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content or suitability for every purpose. To the extent allowed by law, indirect, incidental, special and consequential damages are excluded. Mandatory consumer protections and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without prejudice to mandatory rights that apply in your country or region. South African courts have jurisdiction except where mandatory law provides otherwise. We may update these terms for legal, operational or security reasons. The revised version will carry an updated date.

Privacy policy

Information we collect

Ignis Labs is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, selected topic, message and subsequent correspondence. We also process technical and usage information, such as browser and device information, page visits, interactions and security signals. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, provide support, operate and secure the website, understand usage, improve our services, detect abuse and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the context and jurisdiction, processing may be based on steps towards or performance of a contract, legitimate interests, a legal obligation, or consent where required. A contact request does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Service providers and sharing

Our contact form creates a request in our self-hosted Chatwoot support system. Email replies use our support mailbox and email service provider. We use hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the website and Mixpanel for website analytics and session measurement. Contact form fields are excluded from session capture. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary commercial sense.

Security and international transfers

We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the risks, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. Service providers may process information outside your country; where required, we apply contractual, organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

Retention and your rights

We retain enquiry and support records only as long as needed to respond, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and manage security or backup lifecycle needs. Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or export of your information, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Legal duties, security needs and backup cycles may limit immediate deletion. Contact support@ignislabs.io to make a request.

Children, complaints and updates

This website is not intentionally directed at children who cannot lawfully use it without an authorised representative’s consent. If you believe we have collected information without the required authority, contact us. You may raise a privacy complaint with us or with the South African Information Regulator or another relevant supervisory authority. We may update this policy as our services, practices or legal obligations change.

Technologies used

This website uses browser storage and analytics technologies. Mixpanel uses local storage and device identifiers to measure page visits, interactions and sessions. Hosting and security services may process technical request data. Necessary storage may also support website functionality and security. Contact fields are masked from session recording and excluded from automatic interaction capture.

Your controls

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings and use browser tracking controls. Blocking these technologies may affect some features. Non-essential tracking may operate only where legally permitted and, where required, after consent. Questions about tracking can be sent to support@ignislabs.io.

Do not include passwords, access tokens or other people’s personal information. Avoid accessing, changing or deleting data that is not yours, disrupting services or making a vulnerability public before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
